Placing orders with multiple customers

There has been some great feedback and some requests about being able to place an order for a customer who's called you whilst you're checked in to someone else. This feature was always in the application, however I was unable to show you in our short time in training. These are the steps to follow.

I’m currently at Gasweld Leumeah (100510) on a customer visit, I’ve received a call from Metaland Smeaton Grange (134504) who wants to order a DSC500

I make sure that my cart for Gasweld is empty because this will drop the current cart contents and Continue to Checkout

The Customer field will be populated with the currently checked in Gasweld.

Tap the customer field and accept the error message that is there to tell you that the current cart will be dropped

You can now search for your customer using their name or account number

Tap the customer and you’ll be returned back to the Checkout with the new customers details.

The application is now communicating with PowerMaster with the new customers account number and details

Now you can search the application for the DCS500 and add it to the cart

If you then go to the Cart and the Checkout, you’ll see that you’re about to submit an order for Metaland Smeaton Grange (134504) with the delivery address of 85 Hartley Rd

After you have submitted the order for Metaland Smeaton Grange you’ll notice that the application reverts to your checked in customer Gasweld Leumeah (100510)

From here, you are now able to continue the call with your customer
